My roommate has a 1998 blazer with 4-wheel antilock disc brakes. He has recently begun to have trouble with the brakes, he has to push them to the floor and the car still barely comes to a stop.

Background: He recently had a radio installed and the installer (his younger brother) left all the wires bare after connecting the radio. This caused several fuses to blow.

Our best guess is the ABS, since this is such a sudden problem, however, we checked the abs fuses and they were fine.

Any ideas?
