Ok, so...I reformatted my Dell E1505 notebook from Windows XP home to Windows XP Pro...well, I can't find anything on my computer that tell's me what sound card I have so I can download the drivers!!!!

There should be an order number (I forget what Dell calls them) labelled on the bottom of your computer that you can use on Dell's website to tell you specifically what drivers you need.

^ive tried that. they list all drivers supported by the e1505 and not the ones my specific comp has

its probably been a year or so since i've downloaded drivers for my laptop, but i don't remember having to guess on drivers. at the very least that number should get you a list of whats in your laptop.

If you use the service tag, it should tell you exactly everything your computer has.
