I can't get Windows installed to save my life. It'll go through the setting the time dialog, network settings, blah blah, then always just after setting the workgroup it goes into:

Copy Error

Setup cannot copy the file licwmi.dl_

Ideas? Bad Drive? Why would it pull this same shit at the exact same point every time?

you may need SATA drivers..

why? I don't have ACHI enabled and I've installed plenty of SATA drives w/ no problem

I'll try it anyway, not like it can hurt.

ahh.. overlooked part of your post..

are you upgrading your windows copy?

if you can get into the recovery console.. you can try to extract the missing files into the system32 folder
