The Digital Media Lab on the 2nd floor of DH Hill library has a 48" wide plotter.

$8 per linear foot (not square foot, so it's a solid deal) for glossy paper.

Looks fantastic. I operated that beast for my 3 years working there while in undergrad

^ Matters not. It's a public library, and it's $8/linear foot to any patron. Head on in!

Just take a PDF (please try to not bring in PowerPoints, they don't render as well) on a USB drive or CD-R and some cash.

BTW: they're open from like 9am - 9pm on weeknights, and it closes a little earlier on weekends.

if they're just printing prints for you it doesn't have to be local. Just send them the file and have them ship the prints.

Anybody have any suggestions on a good plotter to buy? Our plotter at work (HP DesignJet 650c) is old as hell... still prints ok but only b&w and we need color...any suggestions for a good quality plotter that can plot at least 24" wide that runs in probably the $1500-$2500 range?
