The gimmick tonight was it was "Vince McMahon Appreciation Night". You know how Vince likes to do things to be the arrogant heel boss. Throughout the night he had people from his past commenting on him (Roddy Piper, Lou Albano, Gene Okerlund, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Dusty Rhodes, Donald Trump, Bob Costas, Bret Hart, Jesse Ventura, Iron Sheik, etc). A lot of them commented poorly on McMahon, especially Austin.

At the end of the show he came to the ring, not doing his strut like he normally does, gets in the ring slowly, takes the mic, drops it, picks it up, says "thank you" very softly, and leaves. He slowly walks to the back and the backstage camera picks him up, all the wrestling superstars are lined up in the back, even the administration guys like Pat Patterson and Ron Simmons, and he starts to walk out to his limo. His "assistant" Jonathan Coachman stops him, and tells him "his limousine is the other way". Vince slowly turns around, says nothing, and walks out the back door. When he walks outside, there are 2 guys hanging out by the door outside talking. Two normal guys. Vince stops twice on the way to his limo to stop and look at them. He then gets in his limo but hesitates a couple times. The limo then just explodes into flames.

And he did this all at a 3-hour show in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania of all places.

I think Vince just made himself "retired". Not retired as in killed himself, but retired as in he'll never appear as his character again on TV, something I never thought I'd see.

They actually did it pretty well. He got in the limo, but the door stayed open and you saw his shoe hit the ground, as if he were right there. And that's when the car blew up. So they gave the impression that he was directly in the fireball.

Yeah, I saw that last night, and I knew the limo was going to blow up. I had that feeling that when he hesitated, something bad was going to happen.

^I'm not in a way. Lashley going to RAW now fuels even more feuds for Cena. Now, I think they'll give either C.M. Punk or Elijah Burke the ECW strap.

Smackdown got raped in the draft. They need a good quality Main Eventer to come over. I don't consider Ric Flair as one anymore.
RAW got loaded as usual.. Kennedy, Lashley, and King Bookah.. wow. I thought it was weird they got Snitsky since he had left RAW.
