Looking for feedback on MotoQ Phone, mainly about quality of calls and reception issues in this area as well as when traveling around the state and ease of use, durability etc.

well, its only offered CDMA i think so either sprint, verizon, or alltel. should all be about the same as far as coverage and call quality. although im sure some would argue.

the q is windows mobile 5 based. if you dont know anything about WM5 id suggest reading up on it before you buy.

oh, and its not durable. at all. big screen but no protection = easy to mess up; also, the battery life is less than stellar.

I have one through alltel, and the software is not so good. I have the phone freeze up on me atleast once a day. Other than that, the reception and the call quality is great.

probably too many tasks running at the same time. when you close out a program like contacts, internet explorer, etc... really any app you open on the damn thing, you still have to go into task manager and kill the app. or just turn it off then back on 2-3 times a day.

i have had the q since it came out from verizon. well the one i have now is number 2 as the first had some critical failure and would not load or charge or anything.

i dont use all kinds of window apps on it, but i really like it none the less.

call reception is better than i have had on other phones, though i have not had issues with verizon...

i have/had dropped both a couple of times and they worked fine afterwards (from my pocket to the ground).

i use my bluetooth headphones or speaker phone primarily for convenience, but i do not like talking into the phone normally because it is hard to hear for me. phone doesnt fit my face well or whatever the reason i prefer speakerphone or if im at the gym ill use the headphones - both work well.

i have had about 2 instances of the phone freezing and both were on the old phone. battery life is decent in standby, a little less decent when using it or talking.

ive seen the black ones out now, i would go for that just because silver can look a little dingy over time...
