picked up a pair of these speakers a few days ago, just thought i'd mention it here because I just got them and they're pretty damn good, especially for the price. I actually got it for cheaper on a deal earlier but it's still pretty cheap for what you get...

those are damn good speakers

i paid something similar to that through amazon about a year ago for the same ones and I love them

they are loud and clear for a 2.1 system

the more i listen to songs and/or play games with them, the more I love these speakers, they have amazing clarity and range and the sub is ridiculously powerful

i have the 5.1 of these and they are pretty good, esp for the price. The bookstore carries them. the only beef i have is that the sub's range for bass is slightly off... sometimes sounds that shouldnt have much if any bass have too much

^^ i will agree that even at the lowest setting the sub is pretty powerful, but I also have hardwood floors and nothing to absorb any of the bass in my room. It is only evident for me in music and i just use my media player equalizer to lower the bass just a little bit and it's fine. But for the price, i was very impressed.

how do these things compare to the klipsch 2.1 speakers? anything in the <$100 range that compares well with those speakers (200W total)?
