She's okay as long as you don't ask her questions. I had her last semester and when a student would ask a question on the class messageboard, she would either never reply to it, or she would reply with some smartass comment about how you should have read the syallabus and that all course information can be found there. One student asked for clarity on a quiz question and instead of explaining to the student what she meant by the question, she responded by suggesting the student use dictionary.com for anything she didn't understand.

However, the class was pretty easy, and as long as you follow directions you will be fine. Her grading seemed to be fair. Good luck!

Oh come on, she's not that bad. No, she's not the most personable woman , and she expects you to do things her way, but if you do what she asks, you're guaranteed a good grade. The class itself is easy, and the skills you learn are pretty important - I've referenced the cover letter I wrote a number of times, and it has paid off. I wouldn't recommend keeping your resume in the format she expects it, but other than that, she's pretty on-point. The material is not fun, so don't expect to love the class, but take it halfway seriously, and you'll be fine
