so what's the best one out there right now? i just did a reformat and need to reinstall something. i've been using trillian for the past few years. i've been happy with it, but i figure there's probably soemthing better out there now. some features i like to have:

-able to use aim and yahoo
-send messages with away message up/being idle
-free of ads or otherwise resource hogging things

i use gaim for windows

my fave feature is alphabetizing buddy lists.
but it does everything else you want too.

i think its now called Pidgin tho or something..

i haven't played with the latest release.
