the other board i use does it and it is pretty funny...when a certain word is typed it posts as a different word

for example, these are used on the other board:

fag=IT IS ACTUALLY ME WHO IS A REPRESSED HOMOSEXUAL
you=ya (inside joke on the board)

could be used to filter out some racist terms...

hahah on a board that i frequent, any curse word is replaced by *beep*. even "shit" gets replaced.

so once I typed sh!t, thinking it would stay, but it got changed also to *beep*

so i edited my post to say s!!t.

next day i saw a [MOD EDIT] in it place

let's review:

1. amac thinks changing words to other words in posts is "pretty funny." noting the chnage from you to ya.

2. cyrion notes that the idea is not needed

3. amac goes on to talk about how hilarious reading a long post with words changes are, again noting you-ya transition

4. everyone wonders what is wrong with amac and cyrion proposes that maybe he is a bit slow

5. amac goes completely off topic and tries to make fun of cyrion based (presumably) on 5 albums cyrion listed in a metal thread and a picture from 3 years ago.

6. cyrion continues to think amac is a little slow (not helped by the fact that slayer was the first band cyrion commented on in said thread, which aparently is nu metal).
