I thought the documentary style was totally unnecessary. Still like the episode though

I liked the style they used last night, but I really don't think they will continue like that.

\/ thanks for setting me straight, I watched them back to back and got confused. Entourage also used "Staring at the Sun" over the ending credits, near the middle of the last season.

^that was the song they played at the end of John from Cincinatti.

Song: She Loves Everybody
Artist: Chester French

That is the song i think you are looking for.

i disagree here. i think it's clear that their goal was to show them filming on the set, but they only wanted to spend one episode on it. That would have been very difficult using the normal show format. At best, they could have shown one episode of them filming it and then had the next episode take place some time later after the filming was complete, but then they wouldn't have been able to include all the highlights of the filming like they did.

with the documentary style, they were able to easily skip through time and show all the important aspects of the filming. plus it was an entertaining departure from the norm of the show.

^and thanks for the song

and it gave insight to the film itself. Medellin has been such a focus of the characters that to have VC back it and star in it and have hardly any "footage" of the film would have been a real drop. We didn't see much of Queens Blvd, and hardly any Aquaman but that was ok. Medellin was more and thus we got to experience more of it as if it were going to be a real film.

Entourage is my favorite show, never missed an episode...

However, it would be much more realistic if Vince looked less like Weird Al in the "I'm Fat" spoof, and more like Pablo Escobar.

you can go to entourage's home page --> episode guide --> music credits

gives it by scene, and its a great tool to just look up some cool songs and bands you've never heard of. Made a CD of a bunch of them this weekend. Including Staring at the Sun.

Oh, and I for one really wanted to see Medellin after watching that episode.

are you guys talking about tv on the radio's staring at the sun?

because

a) they definently didnt play it during sundays episode

and

b) TV on the Radio is a band everyone should give a listen to

I agree, I also liked that episode. Caught it last night, and was impressed with the change up in style.

I will look forward to a return to normality though

After last night's episode I'm intrigued to see where they're going with this. E doesn't seem impressed with the finished product and with E and Vince out of their hotel room they're living off one credit card with no place to live.

I interested to see what happens next

It's obvious that all they are doing is going to test Vinny and Eric's friendship by pitting one against the other and then watch them pull through because they are the greatest of friends from Queens....

If they do the storyline that lame I will admit that I lose some respect for the writers. They had been fairly creative before and this would be so anti-creative

I liked last night's episode because the tits and weed brought it back to the first two seasons. I miss the days of gratuitous nudity and drug use.

Does anyone know if HBO plans to make another season after this one? Reason I ask is because as of right now, there is the possibility of the group splitting and the show ending. I hope that this is not the case, but I was just curious.

it's pretty sad when a new episode doesn't even spark any sort of discussion at all. Last night's episode was just so ho-hum.
