this was all pretty sudden, he was coaching up to a few weeks ago, then went on leave (again) and then boom, dead.

That is pretty sad. That has to be tough for players to have your coach die.
The Big-10 has lost 2 coaches in little time with Randy Walker and now Hoeppner.

yeah, I had somewhat been keeping up with Hoeppner because I always thought he as a good coach and Indiana is SO bad I was curious as to what he would be able to do there (kind of an "ultimate test" for a coach I guess) and just like a week ago they were trying to decide if he would be able to coach or not this year and everything sounded positive, and then BOOM, dead 6/19/2007 10:56:32 AM |
