Quote : | "The following are incidents in which Adam "Pacman" Jones, or people allegedly associated with him, have been involved since the Tennessee Titans drafted him in April 2005. There are now three charges pending against Jones.
July 13, 2005: Two weeks before training camp is scheduled to begin, Jones is arrested by Nashville police at Titans headquarters. He is charged with assault and felony vandalism stemming from a nightclub altercation.
Sept. 5, 2005: Six days before the season opener at Pittsburgh, Jones attends the annual Nashville Sports Council Kickoff Luncheon. Later, Jones has a loud, verbal tantrum when told he must wait in line for his vehicle, according to witnesses. He does not pay for valet service.
Oct. 25, 2005: Five days before the eighth game of the season, it is alleged by the state of West Virginia that Jones has violated the terms of his probation, going back to a suspended sentence after a barroom brawl during his freshman year at college. A judge extends his probation 90 days.
Feb. 6, 2006: Jones is arrested in Fayetteville, Ga., and charged with possession of marijuana. He is handcuffed after throwing a punch at an officer, according to police, and charged with a felony count of obstruction and two misdemeanors of obstructing police. The drug charge is dismissed in January 2007, although his mother Deborah and a friend, Marcus Bowens, are convicted of possession of marijuana. Jones will appear in court later this month to face the obstruction charges.
March 23, 2006: A Fayette County drug task force SWAT team serves a search warrant at the Georgia home Jones bought for his mother. When Jones steps out of his Corvette, a drug investigator notices that the car reeks of marijuana. Jones admits to police he has been smoking and that it will be several weeks before he is able to pass a drug test.
April 18, 2006: According to Nashville police, who cite surveillance camera footage, Jones is one of 12 people gathered at a gas station when a fight breaks out and gunshots are fired.
Aug. 25, 2006: Jones is arrested in Murfreesboro, Tenn., for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. At the Sweetwater Saloon, he is accused of assault by Toya Garth, who says Jones spit in her face and she spit back. A judge sentences Jones six months probation provided he stays out of further trouble.
Oct. 26, 2006: Jones is cited for misdemeanor assault at Club Mystic, a Nashville nightclub, where he allegedly spits in the face of a female college student. He is suspended for one game by the Titans, on Nov. 5 at Jacksonville.
Feb. 19, 2007: Jones is present when an early morning brawl breaks out at Minxx Gentlemen's Club in Las Vegas. Three people are shot. Club co-owner Robert Susnar claims the shooter -- still at large -- acted on Jones' behalf. Jones denies this. Today a warrant is issued for his arrest on two counts of felony coercion." |

This is the strip club it happened at
http://www.minxx.net/
Quote : | "LAS VEGAS -- Police seized $81,020 in cash belonging to Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, money they said sparked a melee and a triple shooting at a strip club over the weekend, court documents show.
Jones Jones was showering more than 40 strippers onstage at Minxx Gentlemen's Club & Lounge early Monday with the cash "intended as a visual effect," according to a search warrant. But a scuffle broke out when the Houston promoter who hired the strippers told them to pick the money up.
The promoter, identified as Chris Mitchell, owner of "Harlem Knights," and a male associate took a plastic trash bag containing Jones' money and walked out the front door, the warrant says. Police recovered the money and two Breitling watches inside a safe at Mitchell's hotel room Monday morning.
Mitchell, according to the warrant, "admits that he took the money in the bag belonging to Jones because he thought it was for the dancers."
After Mitchell left the club, "a melee broke out," the warrant says.
"Jones became irate about the loss of his money, and the fact that girls were in a frenzy, picking up the money at their feet," the warrant says.
Later, a woman identified as a member of Jones' group fought with one of the strippers and security tried to break up the fight, it says. Jones told the guards to back off and reached behind his back "as if he were retrieving a weapon there."
Jones' entourage was moved outside, but the woman continued to fight, according to the warrant filed Wednesday in Clark County District Court in Las Vegas.
The woman hit a guard in the head with a champagne bottle and "began biting and screaming" when other guards tried to restrain her, the warrant says.
Minutes later, a valet told police that he heard shots fired near the front entrance and saw a black man with cornrows in his hair pointing a black semi-automatic handgun, it says. The man then fled.
The shots hit a female customer in the head and two security guards, one of whom remained in critical condition and is going to be paralyzed for life, club co-owner Robert Susnar told The Tennessean. Aaron Cudworth, the guard hit with the champagne bottle, and the woman were treated and released." |

Quote : | "Coercion is the act of threatening or physically interfering with a person trying to do something that he or she has a right and responsibility to do.
The charges are slightly different from those that police sought in March, but that Roger declined to file.
"We wanted to make sure we had a lock-tight case before we started filing charges and releasing reports," the district attorney said.
Langford was expected to contact police to arrange the surrenders of Jones, Reid and Morrison. Langford did not respond Wednesday to repeated messages seeking comment.
A Las Vegas police report says Jones showered dancers on stage with money from a black plastic trash bag -- an act of tipping known as "making it rain." When two dancers began fighting over the money, Jones allegedly grabbed one by the hair and punched her.
Jones is accused of swinging his fists and threatening the life of club employees who police said tried to intervene, and is seen on videotape punching a man who police identify as his own business manager." |

JONES TURNS SELF IN AND IS BAILED OUT
Quote : | "LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Suspended NFL player Adam "Pacman" Jones surrendered early Friday to face charges in a strip club melee that preceded a triple shooting. He was released on $20,000 bail.
Jones is to return Las Vegas Justice Court on July 23, an aide to Clark County District Attorney David Roger said Friday. A booking photograph released by police showed the Tennessee Titans cornerback had cut his hair, shedding his distinctive dreadlocks.
Jones "was in and out around 2 a.m.," said Lt. Jason Letkiewicz, a Las Vegas police watch commander.
The player will plead not guilty to two felony charges of coercion stemming from allegations he threatened to kill Minxx club employees and that he bit a bar bouncer, his lawyer said. If convicted, Jones faces a maximum of 12 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
The charges in Las Vegas have cast more doubt on Jones' playing status with the Titans. Since he was drafted in April 2005, he has been arrested six times, although he has not been convicted.
Two associates, Sadia Morrison and Robert Reid, were scheduled to surrender later Friday, said Robert Langford, a lawyer for Jones. They also face felony charges in the Feb. 19 melee at the club several blocks off the Las Vegas Strip during the NBA All-Star Game weekend.
After his release, Jones flew to Nashville, Tenn., said Manny Arora, another lawyer for the player. Arora remained in Las Vegas to meet with Langford and Roger. The DA filed charges Wednesday against Jones, Morrison and Reid.
Jones has been involved in at least 11 separate police investigations, authorities say, and he's currently sought by Atlanta-area police for questioning in a shooting early Monday after a fight at a strip club there.
Jones has been suspended for the upcoming NFL season for disciplinary reasons. League and team officials had said he might be reinstated for good behavior after the Titans' 10th regular-season game.
Las Vegas police have described Reid, 37, of Carson, Calif., as Jones' bodyguard. He faces one felony coercion charge alleging he attacked a bouncer who tried to restrain Jones.
Morrison, 25, of New York, faces five charges including coercion, felony assault with a deadly weapon and battery stemming from allegations that she hit a bouncer in the head with a bottle and attacked other club employees with a chair and a stanchion.
Police have released an image drawn from surveillance cameras of a person sought as a "person of interest" in the shooting outside the club, which left a bar bouncer paralyzed and two other people with less serious wounds.
Las Vegas police also want to question Jones in a fight reported at another area strip club several days before the Minxx shooting." |
In this photo released by Las Vegas police, suspended NFL football player Adam "Pacman" Jones is shown. Jones, 23, a cornerback with the Tennessee Titans, surrendered to authorities in Las Vegas, early Friday, June 22, 2007 and was released after posting $20,000 bond on a pair of felony charges in connection with a Feb. 19, 2007 strip club melee that preceded a triple shooting, authorities said.6/22/2007 4:47:49 PM |

Pacman Jones is expected to sign a contract with TNA (Total Nonstop Action) Wrestling in the very near future. Supposedly, an announcement was to be made when the figurehead of TNA, Jeff Jarrett, returned from overseas on Tuesday, but a new station in Nashville has a hold of the story so it's moving ahead.
