so maybe i am just not sophisticated enough but i just finally watched this and it just seemed to me the ending was completely tacked on
can anybody explain to me how the parade scene tied in at all with the rest of the film? 6/22/2007 1:32:28 AM |

I haven't seen it sense it was in the theatre, but wasn't that when Bacon pretty much told Penn he knew he had killed Robbins, but wasn't going to do anything about it. 6/22/2007 1:43:38 AM |

basically the theme of the movie is that friends and family come before anything else...
so at the end of the movie they go with the parade scene to show you how everyone pretends everything is ok, and will pretend and go on, so their friends and family don't get affected by Sean Penn's mistake...
does that make sense? 6/22/2007 1:55:16 AM |
