I searched the messageboards and didn't find any threads about this terrific show. Does anyone else watch it? I doubt it's available locally... I've been netflixing it. I don't usually like Britist comedy, but I can't get enough of this show. Each episode features roughly the same characters in different situations (similar to SNL), but they are all actually really hilarious (unlike SNL). My favorites are Anne the mental patient and, of course, Lou and Andy.

Just read this on wikipedia. Not sure how I feel about it...

American version
Walliams and Lucas are due to create an American version of Little Britain for HBO. Little Britain will follow the model of Da Ali G Show, a series and character created by the British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, which was later also created for American audiences for the network. Simon Fuller has been recruited to co-write the series with the duo, along with a team of American writers.[10] Walliams and Lucas have stated that this is the next project they will be working on, and that the next series of Little Britain will have to wait.

Lucas revealed that he and Walliams have been practicing with a vocal coach for their new US series which will contain "old and new characters".[11]
