I've been friggin pumped about this ever since I saw it on imdb a while back.

Reasons that it will be awesome:
1) Daniel Day Lewis
2) The title was changed from Oil! to There Will Be Blood

I think we all know Daniel Day Lewis will carry this movie. PTA is great and all but DDL is gonna kick ass and it looks like he is gonna drop a Bill the Butcher type performance.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to this one too. I'm not always crazy about going to see movies that are nearly three hours long (I'm kicking myself for not going to see Assassination of Jesse James), but this one is a definite must see.

i saw previews for this a few months back and the trailer left me with "wtf was that supposed to be" attitude. But reading more about it and hearing the rave reviews over DDL's performance makes me really want to see it.

Saw it last night. DDL is awesome once again. Overall it wasn't as good as I though it would be, but still good. 7/10

Oh yeah there was some autistic dude sitting in the upper corner that laughed at nearly every line...loudly...including every morbid or sad scene. I was pissed at first, but he ended up making the movie even better. I thought the dude sitting in front of me was going to beat his ass.

^Hahahhaha yeah we saw the same showing then. Guy had a very Peter Griffin-ish laugh.

It was different than I expected too. I thought DDL was going to be more overtly running around intimidating people and beating everybody's ass, kinda like Al Swearengen on Deadwood. It did turn out to be a very good character study of a man driven completely insane by greed though.

I liked being out in the parking lot after the movie and hearing multiple going "DRAINAGE! DRAIIIIIINAGE!"

hahaha...wow we were all at the same showing. Me and ohmy were there too with a bunch of people. we had like 12 people all sitting in the back row and that guy came in and sat up there near us and it got kind of annoying being so close to him haha

^more than sort of annoying. at first his ill timed laughter was amusing and it made the whole experience funny. then it got old and and i was slightly annoyed. then it got really old and i was really pissed. then i finally realized he had some sort of problem and i calmed down.
