http://soccernet.espn.go.com/tables?league=conmebol.america&cc=5901

Group A: Bolivia, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela
Group B: Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico
Group C: Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay, USA

I'll be rooting for USA, of course, but I'll guess that Brazil or Argentina win it all (not going out on the limb here)

Tuesday, June 26th matches:
Uruguay vs Peru @ 6:05pm ET
Venezuela vs Bolivia @ 8:50pm ET

Wednesday, June 27th matches:
Ecuador vs Chile @ 6:35pm ET
Brazil vs Mexico @ 8:50pm ET *should be the best game of group play*

Thursday, June 28th matches:
Paraguay vs Colombia @ 6:35pm ET
Argentina vs USA @ 8:50pm ET

ha, yeah

i've never been one to approach somebody from tww since im not too big of a fan of people coming up to me and saying "hey, you're that goodlife guy from thewolfweb"

this last happened to me right before running onto the court at the end of the carolina game

if we planned a group thing that'd be cool

Bradley shouldve brought the B squad for the Gold Cup, and the A, or semi-A squad for the Copa America(since its the bigger tournament)

^i agree, and i dont see why these players would not wanna play in this tournament besides if there was like a club team issue or something...i guess we did have to hold down our own tournament and territory but we im just as disappointed as anyone else that we didnt bring the goods

well hopefully the US doesnt get embarassed, i believe our B squad can beat Paraguay's A squad, could be the same with colombia, i havent really heard much from any players coming from that country recently. we will most likely lose to Argentina, and if we get through to the next round i have a feeling we play will draw Brazil(im not sure how the draws work for the next round though)

So does this look good for the US if Mexico takes down Brazil since we beat Mexico last weekend? or just reeeeeally bad for Brazil?

Halftime: Mexico 2, Brazil 0

1st goal: perfect pass for 1 on 1, popped ball over defender, then popped it over goalie.
2nd goal: free kick from just outside the goal box, bent perfectly into the corner of the net

I missed the first half, but I don't know what game you're watching. They've been dominating the last 25 minutes - two shots cleared off the Mexico's line, one off the crossbar, and a couple of other really nice chances. I am amazed by their touch on the ball, and this is their freaking B team.

i would love to see brazil get embarrassed during this tournament. if you can't respect the tourny enough to bring your A-team, you shouldn't win. Every other team this year (save the US - who will be slayed tonight) brought their A-team. Argentina is stacked with an even better squad that they played in the World Cup. Brazil has been good enough to win this tourny in the past playing their 8th through 20th strongest players, but I would love to see them not advance from the first round so that they try to actually compete for the next copa america. i mean, common, it's the second most prestigous cup a south american team can win, and its the oldest tournament in the world.

post script: the concacaf gold cup and copa america need to combine and make one big tournament with North and South America countries. That would be sweet, and probably give the Eurocup a run for it's money.
