A year or two ago we had those "sales reps" who would come to your house and get you set up, they offered the best promotional rates, and those promotional rates were good for a full year.

Now those phone numbers are disconnected, so i assume that department isn't in existance anymore, and when I check out TWCs pricing, their promo prices are only good for 3 months.

Anyone know of a way to get promo pricing for more than 3 months? I'd settle for 6 at this point, but a year would be golden.

I did some searching and saw the link below, but that doesn't seem to be any different than the standard pricing from TWC's website. http://www.timewarnercableoffers.com

call and try to disconnect, they'll offer you more promos

If you get a 6 month promo and have a roomate, you can just cancel after 6 months and get a new promo under the other name.

so i called one of those older numbers, got hooked up with some sales rep and they and gave me promo pricing for 12 months. [/thread]
