Was wondering if anyone here was planning on going to the HIN car event in Charlotte? I'm most likely (95% sure) that I will be attending the event to take pictures. I will know tomorrow if I will, but I think I'd be able to get in. I got a few friends who'd be performing in the bboy battle so that's one of the main reasons why I'm going, plus the bikini contest and booth babes...

besides, break dancing is pretty cool. There's a few bgirls in the game, not sure if they'll be at the battle since they typically suck. Now if we were on the west coast, that would be a whole different ball park.

yo Jbaz, I'll be at the autocross but it's a 9am-9pm event so I'm not sure if I'd be up for HIN. My wife definitely won't be up for it after 12 hrs of autocross boredom

nah, can't make it. I have to be at the event between 12-1pm. Actually, where is it? Is it close to the HIN event cause I could just leave when I get my pass and return at 5pm.

Oh, my camera assistant bailed on me so I could take someone with me if they absolutely sure they can attend the event. They will need to be at the event between 12-1pm or you can ride with me. I'm leaving Raleigh/Apex area around 8am. PM or AIM me at jbazii.

I couldn't either. However, 12 hours of hanging out with a bunch of cool car guys and seeing some nice/unique cars is usually worth it. Not to mention my little sister is my co-driver for this one, which is awesome

I always think Autocross is as much for the atmosphere as the driving...unless you're like national level or something.

There is also a bike rally going on at the mooresville dragway that day. I'm probably going to that instead.

got a friend to fill in as the "assistant" . Also expect to see me at the autocross as well since its pretty close by to the HIN. I'll be there between noon and 5-6pm. If you plan on being there, try to stay there for the afternoon runs. I'm gonna take pics like crazy again. About halfway done with processing last weekend's autocross. Trying to get them done before I leave for tomorrow.
