When I start my car and turn the a/c on there is a smell of engine oil that goes away after a minute. What could be the cause??..its not leaking oil underneath or anything.

do you notice any smoke from the exhaust when you start it? sounds like your valve seals might be going, and it's burning a little bit of oil off at startup and the hvac system is drawing it in.

or, could be a valve cover, etc. dripping a little on an exhaust manifold.

look for any seepage/leaks on the engine. it could be a very light drip onto some part of the exhaust, and not show any signs of leaking underneath/on the ground.
