1st round almost over....Sergio in the lead at -6. Tiger in the clubhouse at -2 and possibly the biggest surprise of the day is Amateur Rory McIlroy at -3. Looks/Dresses like a gay....but hes got game today.

You know Tin Cup is taking this shit to the house.

"He hits the 7 like John Daily hits the driver."

Speaking of John Daily he lead for 2 hole and then got a Snownman.

Lefty just hit one in the deep ass rough off the 18th tee and all the announcer could say was, "Oh dear"

Sergio Garcia leads at -6.

I would like to see him play well all weekend but I know the final round meltdown will ensue.

I hate Sergio Garcia and I hope he dies in a fire. If he only played as shitty in the Ryder Cup as he does in majors.

At Carnoustie in 1999, he cried like a little bitch.

I dont want this 18 year old to do well

I dont like the way he carries himself and what he has said in the past. I really hope he dwindles out soon although hes got a heck of a round going today. that said i could take him.

ok, this is kind of random, but do you guys know how many balls the tour pros carry with them in a round of golf?
Like do they change balls every few holes?

I caddied for Curtis Strange during a pro-am way back in 2000. He had two dozen balls in his bag. He changed balls every 2 holes. I think he shot around 84 (Torrey Pines North)

I just can't quite get into the British that much....I guess because it isn't played here and all.

Watching these guys wear long sleeves in July is weird.

Is Sergio going to win this thing or choke like usual?

^^ better hope the US Open isn't at Pebble then in the coming years... it never gets higher than 63 or so this time of year..

Haha Sergio right on cue with a 5.

Playoff now between him and Paddy Harrington.

I like both and this should be interesting.

Ha ha Sergio is about as clutch as Beltran in game 7 of last year's NLCS.

gg to Harrington for pulling his shit together after the double at 18.

Sergio did go wire-to-choke pretty remarkably.
