It comes out next week and I was wondering if anyone else was going to camp out for tickets or had heard of any midnight showings. I'm just glad that someone has finally had the brilliance to put Big Boi and the principal from Ferris Bueller's Day Off in a golf film that is sure to make Happy Gilmore look like Pearl Harbor.

The commercial makes me laugh every time that I see it. Big Boi has a golf cart, but unlike most golf carts, his has chrome rims on it!

If there has ever been a more thoughtful and poignant commentary on the differences between white culture and african american culture then I haven't seen it.

I've seen the previews, and here are my prognostications (which are worthless):

Background Info:
white people = idiot racist bad-guys (minus one or two who are cool b/c they act black)
golf = dumb sport
white people + golf = dumb sport for idiot racists
black people = righteous, cool, good-guys

Plot:
black people try to play golf, are scoffed at by mean racist old white people. Black golfers bring their own style and "flava" to golf, simultaneously managing to humiliate idiot racists and poke fun at dumb sport.

Surprise Ending: The mean racist old white guys meet hilarious fates as they are defeated by cool black golfers. Everyone is happy at the end of the movie, now that all of the other white people have come to terms with how racist they are and thus start to act black. Lots of dancing, some "movie-specific" rap song starts playing. credits.

Moral of the Movie: white people=BAD... black people=GOOD!
