My friend has a soft-modded xbox. The original DVD drive doesn't function properly anymore, which seems to be a common problem with the Thompson DVD drives with age.

We have an ISO img file on PC that we would like to transfer to a playable format on the xbox. We have tried swapping out DVD drives with his pc DVD drive but that failed.

What is the simplest method of accomplishing this task?

There are bunches of programs for this. Some only extract the ISO and you manually upload it. Some extract and upload.
