http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/document/document.shtml

Quote :
"Document uncovers details of a planned coup in the USA in 1933 by a group of right-wing American businessmen. The coup was aimed at toppling President Franklin D Roosevelt with the help of half-a-million war veterans. The plotters, who were alleged to involve some of the most famous families in America, (owners of Heinz, Birds Eye, Goodtea, Maxwell Hse & George Bush’s Grandfather, Prescott) believed that their country should adopt the policies of Hitler and Mussolini to beat the great depression."

Don't forget that in the Iran Contra Scandal (Reagan Administration) there was a plan hatched within FEMA to suspend the Constitution which would basically enable a government coup.

Is that the theory that says the longer the current administration rules, the probability of a resulting facist state reaches one?

Odd that they believed they needed a coup... FDR was doing his level best to impliment a fascist state. Hell, the plans for the NRA were riped almost entirely from Mussolini's Italy.

Fascist is a very expansive term that can be used to define any number of positions. Can you be a little more specific?

And you're video is from prisonplanet. Come on, man.

all you people are pompous idiots who spend all your time trying to push people into stupid corners, blast people with thousand word nonsense responses, and attempt to make every fucking thing as vague as possible

i understand this stuff interests you, it interests me as well, but...

Press Secretary Tony Snow told reporters that VP Dick Cheney was undergoing surgery tomorrow for a few hours.

He reassured everyone that while Cheney was under, George Bush would be temporarily running things.
