I leave my computer up on friday's so one of my coworkers (who is a female) can check accounts.

Every monday i come in my internet browser is filled with abercrombie, myspace, her facebook login, and even her screen name on AIM.

she has her own desk with her own computer 3 foot away to do this crap. why she doesn't on mine is beyond me.

Anyway, i want to see what she is typing and not be flagged by antivirus.

That sounds a bit stalkerish . Why don't you just ask her what she is typing?

It's his computer, he can do whatever the fuck he wants to with it. If she's using it for shit she's not supposed to, he has every right to see what she's doing and that's not creepy at all.

Right, my point was that he DIDN'T leave it for her to peruse the intarweb...just to do business.

oh i interpreted "check accounts" as normal internet stuff...not work stuff

still tho, getting some girls myspace, facebook, aim, email etc logins is pretty creepy.

because she figures if the higher ups are monitoring that stuff better to do it on your PC than hers and risk her own ass lol

^^ oh. so you work somewhere like that.

i'm sure you can imagine what shes typing though...OMG MATT IS SO HAWT! YOU GOING TO THAT PARTY L8R? KISSES

I mean what are you expecting to find here in your sleuthing? if you don't want her to use your PC for that crap just tell her to cut it out...or lock down access to it to the internet when you leave...or just dont let her use your pc anymore.

theres a whole host of options here that don't include being creepy. and yeah, if she was a he this wouldn't be nearly as creepy.

Can you edit the anti-virus policy? If you can grant access to certain exe files and tell the AV not to flag them, you can use any keylogger you want.

search for a product called STARR, aka http://www.detective-software.net/starr.asp and grab a copy off any of the hack sites, or evne sue the demo for a while. It does a great job for me of logging mess, as it gets both sides of chats ect, and does screencaps, ect.

I'd carefully reconsider your plans. Your employer probably wouldn't be thrilled to find out about one employee deceiving another, and by allowing a co-worker to use your PC with a keylogger running and not actively informing her of that fact, I think you're doing exactly that.

Interesting read on a somewhat similar topic:
