I think this is our year to win the east. PLEASE keep Portis out of the preseason games. His injury last year was the start of our season going into the toilet.

The skins are my #2 fav team and I hate the rest of the NFC East because of that. I just don't think they have got all the tools they need to win that division.

Keep selling those $15 hotdogs (I bought one, it wasnt worth it) at FedEx field (one of my fav stadiums) and pay off Spurrier's contract so you can start paying off Gibbs' contract when he's done after this year... Let's just hope that Snyder keeps it real with Cowher...

I'm interested to see how Campbell does. The D line was the big question mark last year and nothing was really addressed in the offseason, so we'll see...lots of potential though.

there are rumors that the skins may be looking at simeon rice. . . we do need help on the dline, PLUS we have our annual "star on the decline" free agent to overpay

offense will be a question mark until there is a legit #2 WR. we are set at RB but the loss of dockery will hurt a bit. how much, we will see. and campbell. . . supposedly he looks sharp in practice, but eli can do that too.

defense should be much better with LFB. if landry signs soon that will be a sick group of safeties. macklin, smoot, rogers, and mr. glass should be enough at cb. dline: i have low confidence in them.

MAN ncsuapex, how did you get the tickets? did your number come up on the waiting list or what?

do any of you guys go to the fan club game watches at hi-5?

ah, i have been on the waiting list for only about 4 years. i am about #90,000 right now. if we continue to suck i think i will get them around 2013. i do have a friend with season tickets, though, so that is nice in case we do start winning.

Yeah I got in before they opened the new stadium so once that happened it knocked about 30k+ people off the list and I moved up a few years later.



Im not worried about the QB spot. Campbell will be fine. Part of the reason Lloyd had a terrible season is twofold. A)Brunell sucked and couldn't get the ball past 10 yards. B) the O was scaled waay back to help Campbell get adjusted. I think you're going to see some pretty good offensive numbers this year.


My main worry is stopping the run.

Left tackle Chris Samuels suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee during Monday's practice.

Samuels is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam on the knee on Monday evening. Team officials will evaluate his status after the MRI is completed.

The injury occurred late in practice when a lineman inadvertently rolled over Samuels' leg.

After practice, Samuels walked out of Redskins Park towards the team bus wearing a brace around his right knee.

"It's just a sprain," Samuels said. "I think I'm okay. I didn't feel anything pop, but it was definitely my MCL. I'm going to go get an MRI and we'll see how long it takes for me to get back out on the field.

It's likely that Samuels will be sidelined for several practices, as well as this Saturday's scrimmage against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

Samuels said that when the injury initially happened, his first thought was that his season was over before it started.

"But the good Lord blessed me and I know that I'm fine," he said.

Head coach Joe Gibbs said he is unlikely to move Todd Wade back to tackle to replace Samuels in the lineup. It's possible that reserve lineman Jason Fabini, who has played mostly tackle in his career, could step in for Samuels.

The only 2 NC State players that the Skins have drafted(that I know of) are Harrison and Alex Webster(1953). I can't recall off the top of my head any other State players that played for the Skins...

selling my family's 6 skins/ravens home preseason tickets on eBay right now.

we go to almost every home game typically but preseason games, to my parents, aren't worth the trip... they just have me hock them on the internet every year.

I don't know if there's a way to unlist them, but if anyone on here wants them for a reasonable amount, we can work something out or I can at the very least point you to the auction.

PM me, the seats are amazing (like, been in the family for 65 years amazing)... lowel level, section 142, three or four rows in front of snyder's box on the 45.
