Hey guys,
I'm taking Dr. Knopps BCH 451 this summer, i've been making "okay" grades. The final will play a big role in whether i make a "B" or a "C" in his class. Does Dr.Knopp curve the grades on the final? What's the format like...and does he reuse exam 1,2,3,4 questions?
Exam 4 this friday...Final this coming tuesday. I'm scared!!! 7/31/2007 11:13:49 PM |

Relax, his final is not the hard. He pretty much tells you exactly what to study before hand. Know the old tests. I don't think he curves though, especially he has give extra credit points through-out the session.
Instead of drawing structures he gives you the structure and asks for the name, know the info. in Knopp's notes. I do remember being told that he typically give much more than 100 points on his tests, so technically you could make a 150 on the final. So he includes extra credit in the final. I was making a high B when I went into the final and ended up with an A+.
My advice, go through the test and answer all the easy questions first, then add up the points, then pick and choose questions that you def. know the answers to next (longer, slightly more complicated) and then answer the questions that are the hardest. I completely skipped the true/false questions as they could take away points from my grade. 8/1/2007 8:56:51 AM |

Check out his grade distribution online he gives almost 90% As, I made a 35 on the final and still made an A in the class. He'll curve your grade for you. 8/2/2007 1:11:33 PM |

I wouldn't worry... he will curve the final grades. See if you can get a hold of the review for the final. It helps A LOT. I don't remember if he passed that out or if I got it from someone in Sylvia's class (been too long!).... 8/2/2007 1:44:35 PM |

Thank you all for your inputs. We went over the three pathways today. I like Dr. Knopp though, he's one funny guy. 8/2/2007 2:40:27 PM |
