What a fucking random list.

They have the following 2nd year players and rookies listed (Bush and Young were predictable):

34. Reggie Bush
39. Vince Young
40. Calvin Johnson
41. Matt Leinart
50. Adrian Peterson

They don't even bother rating Rivers, but they rate both Roethlisberger and Eli as odd men out. That makes no sense. Mario is also rated as an odd man out due to excessive expectations.

Why do they bother trying to rate guys who have less than 3 years experience in the NFL? Definitely one of the dumber lists I've seen ESPN make.

A: it's Page 2, so it doesn't count unless it's funny

B: P.Riv hasn't done anything yet to warrant consideration for future Hall-of-Fame status...

of course, neither have about 65% of that list

honeslty... based on the people who are below P.Riv, they either think that Turner is going to ruin him, or just forgot about him (he does kinda sink into the back of people's minds when discussing the NFL, that's what he gets for not being outlandish or dating models)

me and my brother were talking about wack shit ESPN does

The "Virtual GM" shit they did with baseball a couple seasons ago still reigns supreme

This is almost as dumb as the "Mock Trade Deadline" they did earlier this week for their College Football Preview

I'm surprised they still don't have Michael Vick on there.

I mean he's the greatest quarterback in the history of the ultraverse... of all time....evar!

I understand why they did it that way, but it just seems kind of...preposterous to have CJ as in and Quinn/Russell as out before they've played one single snap in the pros...

I know I just made a thread about him, but what about Curtis Martin? I mean 4th all time rusher. I can see how a 2nd year RB (Bush) is already a lock over him

And I feel there are almost way too many more other talented players that where left off from lesser known teams.

This is like the Who's Who of the NFL, now. Totally name based status.

I was pretty shocked to see that Zach Thomas wasn't on the list.

He'll be the leading tackler of all time before the end of the season, and he's only 33.

No Steve Smith. Interesting.

I wouldn't say he's a lock for the HoF, but one would think that he's on the way. Surely if Reggie and Calvin Johnson are on here, someone can give some love to Smitty.
