I don't understand why some PC3200 can cost more than PC6400. Can someone tell me why #1 costs more than #2?

#1: Kingston HyperX DDR PC3200 $190: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=879444&CatId=1354

#2: Kingston HyperX DDR2 PC6400 $120:

I thought DDR2 was faster then DDR, and I'm pretty sure 800mhz is twice as fast as 400mhz. And it's not just TigerDirect, it's a lot of places. Anyone know?

you're right, ddr2 is* faster, and 800 is better than 400mhz.
the price is crazy cause ddr1 is now on the way out...jack the price so anyone still needing it pays $texas. additionally, pc2700 costs basically the same as pc3200 (both ddr1) at some places, further backing my opinion.
