I read somewhere on here that somebody was using old tags. How'd you do it? 8/8/2007 6:02:16 PM |

IIRC you have to have a current valid plate in the car, but you can have a vintage plate, as long as its the same year of the car displayed 8/8/2007 6:05:19 PM |

car has to be manufactured at least 35 years ago, and you can display the year of manufacture tag but must keep the current plate and registration in the car in case you get pulled over. 8/8/2007 6:16:43 PM |

It's a 66 Bronco. So do you have to go to the DMV and tell them you're doing it? Or just keep the real plate in the car and show it if you get pulled? 8/8/2007 6:20:01 PM |

You can run ANY tag as long as it clearly says the year on it... I am running a south dakota on my bug cause it was cooler... but I have a NC one and a Cali for it too. For my Cutlass I have a '72 NC dealer tag and a regular '72 NC tag. 8/8/2007 6:28:32 PM |
