I've bought several items for my truck from the one in Charlotte. Basically they jack up their prices but have always been willing to work on them. They used to mail out pretty good coupons as well.

yeah, sort of. this store's general manager, service manager, and a lot of the techs/sales staff are true off road enthusiasts though, so it's at least got that going for it.

they usually do have decent prices on tires and some other generic stuff, and with a decent staff the service will be good hopefully. just look elsewhere for your high quality fab parts and other more dedicated off road parts.

That sami is a beast, it will not break. We couldnt break a birf all weekend and we trying our best.

For what he was asking (It was his Ivan, it was just a little smaller when it was for sale)...it was a steal. I wouldnt count on him trying to sell it again any time soon.

i think lee is wrong about the sami's. i know of the vdub powered one, and it's different than kyle's. kyle still has the sami drivetrain in it. i think kyle's was for sale, but his (the one pictured above) is not the same as this one below:

oh shit. You are right Ivan. I misread your post. That silver one is Hugh's, from Boone. He DD's that thing (VW motor, toys, etc).

The black one is stock motor, crawl box, toys (kyle's).

Hugh used to work at Rockmonkey and was helping out at CRS before he closed up shop.

The Silver Zuk is for sale right now, which he MAY have sold but i may be wrong as he was wheeling it 2 weeks ago at the Harlan ride.

nothing too crazy. 96 zj, 3.5-4" lift, 33" mt's, stroker, aw4 swap, locked rear.

aw4 swap did not finish perfectly and i'm in the process of making it move properly. I also need to throw the locker in the rear again (blew the last lockrite) but that only takes like an hour. big thing is getting the swap right.
