How many other teams could make the same claim if Player X was not injured, etc. The Mets fans could say that because they lost Pedro and have had some other key injuries, the Phillies fans can say that because had basically the whole team on the DL, the Yankees have had tons of injuries, so have the Cardinals.

Erstad was replaced by Luis Terrero and Andy Gonzalez

Joe Crede was replaced by Josh Fields (who has only been good since the All Star break)



not superstars, but definitely big time role players and two of them were BIG TIME parts of the WS run in '05

^^^yes im a twins fan and haha yes not only did torii express unhappiness with the castillo trade but johan didnt like it either...so two of our stars...however players say shit every year on the twins and they always make a late season run...however i doubt we can hang on to torii after this year unless we get really far

btw i remember going to multiple charlotte knights games with owens and fields...im definitely glad to see them doing well...and yes my favorite mlb team's rival's aaa team is my favorite aaa team lol
