What you're looking for is called a PRL update. There is no "better signal" function. If you're an Alltel customer, using a Motorola RAZR, you dial *228 and follow the prompts. Before you do the update, you really should read this from a US Cellular FAQ so you understand what this update does and doesn't do. It doesn't simply "find the nearest tower."
