Well, I used Sony Ericsson phones for about 4 years before I got my iPhone, and one thing about them is the slow interface. On my S710a, it used to almost take a second or more before the effect of pressing a button could be seen. The T68 was worse.

majority of the newer SE phones are much faster and better than the two you mentioned, comparing Sony Ericsson phones from 3+ years ago to the iphone which was just released this year is retarded. W300, W800i, and many others released since then don't exhibit anything like that...

Pretty sure the S710a was released sometime around Mid 1995, but point taken.

I did try someone's W600 something, and it had the same slowness.

So how does tacking on a glitchy unresponsive touch screen, that the user in the video can't even seem to get to scroll correctly by the way, make this a good thing? It seems like taking a decent phone, tacking on a me-too gimmick, and selling it at a much higher price.
