I used to hunt back in Rockingham County, but that's just a bit too far to drive to go hunting now.

Anyone have land around Wake County that I can hunt? I'll mainly be hunting deer and turkey.

Willing to pay a small usage fee if I have to.

nc gamelands out near holly springs near shearon harris. i can't find it on the list of gamelands from the nc wildlife people but i know for a fact that it existed at least 3-5 years ago b/c we used to hunt there all the time. maybe they closed it...

also, ncstate owns Hill Forest (where they run forestry camp and stuff) up in durham county. they only issue a certain number of permits each season and you get them from the natural resources people. not sure what time of year they issue permits.
