I thought we could use a new Heroes thread since the old one had the show's name misspelled in the title.

30 episodes this season, six of those being origins episodes. Should be stellar.

From what I understand the origins episodes will be lumped together and may be inserted into a mid-season break.

They want more continuity this year and not have to take so many breaks, so I'm guessing it'll be 1st half of the season Sept - Nov., maybe Origins in Jan. and then the rest of the season in Mar. or April.

Anyone been keeping up with the graphic novels?

The backstory of Claude, Candace, and the haitian were all pretty interesting.

I'm wondering if Claude's first partner will resurface. I was pretty surprised to see he had a power too.

The season finale for season 1 was pretty terrible, therefore my excitement for season 2 is a bit tempered. Nonetheless, the show as a whole was above average for TV today, and I'm sure I'll watch it.

yeah i'm glad all the introducing characters/exposition is mostly done from season 1. i know it's kinda like a comic book but i hate going 3-5 shows and it seeming like nothing happens except for the last 5 minutes

I think Nathan flew up and dropped him to let him exploded and peter regenerates so Nathan could have gone back and caught him or just let him hit the ground.

I dont know, but I know they arent dead and neither is Sylar. The new bad guy is supposed to be scary as hell though

I've got hard copies of the graphic novels just from printing them on my bros graphic design computer, but from what I've read, they'll be out in bookstores October 27th. and for 30ish bucks - not too bad.
Its exactly like the show for me though, i don't like the waiting period between reading each one.

as for the show itself, ill probably just dvr the whole season and then watch it all at once. I cant stand to wait a whole week or more for the next one.

Pretty good show though, I got hooked by my bro, it was hard for him to convince me to watch the first one considering i don't watch television. But, I'm pretty glad i gave it a chance.

LOST fans were complaining about the same thing so they moved it to 2 min-seasons separated by one long break. The fans complained about the long break so they moved the entire season to start in Feb. Now the fans are complaining some more. I think they should learn from LOST's mistakes, make a bunch of episodes, and go non-stop from September to May

Ditto, I'm hooked on this show now. As for the gap between episodes, I like 24's format (they'll conflict come next year ) of having the whole season run continuously over the 24 weeks needed. Sure you wait for it to start, but there aren't the gaps.

Oh yeah the blonde FBI lady is a pretty bad actress as well, but not as bad as Peter.
