I might be adopting this dog from someone who just picked her up from the Harnett County Animal Shelter. Anyone have any idea what breeds she might be? The girl said shes not sure, but shes 7 weeks old. Just wondering as far as the size she might eventually be.

Looks like a pretty generic lab mix. 50-70 lbs.

So slim chances its gonna end up being something more around 30 pounds? Thats the max we were really looking to go size wise... but i dont want to pass up this little girl.

well...

how much does the puppy weigh now and what was its life like before now? In other words, is it or was it under or malnourished or is it at a healthy weight?

also, the paws look small...I know there is a lot more growing for the pup to do, but I know my 8 wk old rescue had humungo paws when I rescued her. She was 11-12 pounds when I rescued her and she is now 72lbs.

I'd guess 40-60 lbs.
hard to tell without comparing her to anything.

the paws look small. i doubt she'd be 50-70 lbs. my guess is 30-50lbs. my aussie mix pup had GIANT paws when she was 10wks but she's only 37lbs (kinda short too).

^^ No, a girl named Meredith pulled her.
I'm not sure how much she weighs now, I haven't met her and I've only sent a few emails back and forth with the owner.
