why would we want to be #1 on that poll??
State had a great team in 83 and won the title against another great team
hardly 1-AA beating a top 5 1-A 9/5/2007 10:31:01 PM |

^ The game ultimately means nothing. No championships, no nothing.
I think the 83 NCSU win is much more worthy.
And this further adds to the argument that preseason polls mean NOTHING.
Had ASU played Michigan 8 or 9 weeks in, a I-AA might've beaten an unranked Michigan team. If Michigan ends the season BCS Bowl Bound, then MAYBE you have an argument.

↑ ftw
i'm not saying they don't have a ballin ass team for a 1-aa
but maybe... michigan drank too much the night before?
to quote the longest yard
"We played a slack division 2 team like Appalachian State, and kick the living s**t out of them. ..."
i'm sure this is what they were thinking was going to happen went out got f-ed up the night before and blew the game. that is if they do end up with a good team. 9/5/2007 10:38:13 PM |
