they need to get rid of those sleeves. i saw at least three players lose that bottom part (under the black line) last game due to them simply tearing off.

I hate Chuck Amato for changing our jerseys.

All becuase of his stupid glasses, we signed with Adidas and ruined a great looking uniform

As I understand it, the reason we switched from Nike to Adidas was becuase Nike kept complaining and threatening us about Chuck wearing Oakley glasses (And not Nike), although it was in the contract he could only wear Nike clothing.

Now this was when the whole 'glasses' and 'rising program' thing was still believable and we were getting a lot of press... like when Trev Alberts were having Chuck for phone interviews at halftime of Thursday night games and such and discussing his glasses.

Chuck finally wore a pair of Nikes and lost every game without the Oakleys.... we switched the next season. Dunno how true it is, but that's the only reason I know we switched.

we don't have a adidas school-wide deal, we should cause it would save the athletic department a ton of money. football, basketball, cross-country and soccer have separate adidas contracts and a couple of the other sports buy adidas gear. baseball, wrestling, softball, volleyball, and swimming have deals with majestic/newbalance/nike etc.

Packbacker - hit the nail on the head on why football switched from Nike, plus the adidas payout and contract blew the nike deal out of the water. the same reason why michigan and texas a&m switched to adidas, because of money
