Firing Chuck Amato and hiring TOB has knocked ncstate football back 10 years. Firing Chuck may not have been a bad thing if we hired a good coach to take his place but this was a complete screwup that all comes back onto lee fowler imo.

Well chuck didn't get all the players hurt and as bad as trestman may have been at least we could run the ball and manage many games with terrible qbs to still be close.

I'll take penalties and an aggressive competitive product over this shit any day.

Sure Chuck wasn't good but program stability is very important and the longer you have a staff together the better you will become. Chuck was on the verge.

What the hell are you talking about? Chuck ran off all of the good assistants and replaced them with incompetent ones because everyone hated him. How is that stability???


Chuck's teams were a trainwreck. Our defense actually looked pretty good today and we ran some brilliant screen and toss plays to get the ball into our playmakers hands.

Our offensive line sucks monkey balls because Chuck always recruited 20 skill position players and ignored the offensive line. Its like he thought we could play 6 WR, 4 HB, and 1 QB.

Chuck was a complete disaster. We hung with Boston College today if you take away all of Beck's fucking turnovers. If someone can knock some sense into him we could be a competitive football team.

Chuck's team would have been absolutely shelled out there today and I would have broken my television set.

Just because they kept a pocket some of the time doesn't mean they were opening up holes for the runners.

wow....kill yourself for making this thread, you are a complete chode. Take into account the circumstances. First off, we are/were missing baker, hill and pressley, who are gone for the season, so expect the worst. Ok if you noticed, our defense did a great job, we made matt ryan look average. Its obvious that we can't run the fucking ball because we don't have that kind of o-line, so we were forced to pass and pass we did...a lot. We are starting a qb who has like almost no experience but has all the tools, especially an arm and a set of balls to throw a pass. We had a lot of great plays and I can't remember the last time we had a qb throw for over 300 yards. Get off the kids back, i mean what do you expect? For him to not get picked by a good, experienced defense who just knows that he is going to pass? Learn the fucking game. Do you really believe that there was any chance that BC was going to let TOB come into boston and win? honestly. TOB has made huge strides already with the lack of tallent and dept that he has. Check out the recruiting boards, we are already doing a lot better than last year ya jew. Greatness takes time. I understand the frustration, I dont want to spend the remainder of my time at state with a losing football team, but what can you do. Keep your heads up wolfpack fans, he can only get better.
