Added an ssid and wep security last night, but the standard "linksys" ssid is still showing up as an available network. The display also indicates that the computer is connected to both of them. Both have the same channel and address.

The Thinkpad I set everything up with is the only with the problem, another only picks up the new settings. I've restarted both the computer and the router/modem combo. Any ideas?

factory reset the router and start over?

you're positive both signals are coming from the same router?

pretty sure, but the other pad doesn't even show the "linksys" router, so it must be the computer itself

shows two signals with the same xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx address

more an annoyance than anything i suppose

nevermind, yeah sounds like it's not updating the availible networks correctly.
