By the time Christmas gets here, I won't even be able to travel. Hell, I may even be in labor. So my family is coming from 2 hours away to have Christmas at MY HOUSE.

you can use the fact you're carrying in order to do NOTHING

make them handle it all, even though you're hosting.

I am definitely a big fan of christmas. I don't really start to do much up until the end of November, though. That's about when I get the tree, and when I start hitting up stores to get people gifts.

if we go to a Christmas shop between now and then, though, I'll probably pick something up if I like it even if it's early. Christmas means a whole lot to me, 'tis a special time of year.

If I had my way, I'd already be decorating, but my boyfriend won't let me. I am extra excited this year for some reason, I guess because I'm graduating, or because I don't have to go home.

I don't really enjoy Christmas music, though, except maybe on Christmas day. It's all about Jesus and stuff.

i agree. except for not having to go to school, i hate christmas. it's too commercialized and everybody drags it out for 2 or 3 months.

we started talking about that stuff in August.

I like christmas: some of my family I only see twice a year, if I'm lucky, and that's one of them. Then there's going to Chicago to be with my bf's family, which is awesome.

And for once, my grandfather doesn't send everyone out to the "garden" to do his work for him

...and I like the music

I've already got ~1/3 of my xmas shopping done.

Vaha...I'm one of the douchebags who listens to xmas music all year.

I try not to get pumped for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but I get excited starting in November.

I won't listen to the Christmas stations until after Thanksgiving though.

Staging a Christmas tree setup with presents and all that jazz for a photo shoot = me really wanting it to be Christmas now.

On the bright side...I never have school or have had to work on my b-day but I also spent my 21st with my parents (since it was winter break and school was 2.5 hours away)

I wouldnt mind christmas if there wasnt such a huge deal made about gift giving and buying presents. Now i just see christmas as my brokest time of the year, rather than a chance to get together with family i otherwise never see.

^that's why I started buying Christmas presents year round and hiding them in my closet but I generally use all the money from my December 17th birthday to buy Christmas presents so it evens out.

last minute shopping is a bitch though, and I AM SO NOT DOING THAT THIS YEAR OMG

"Christmas comes early for couple

Craig and Kelly Kitchener want to get people in the 'Christmas spirit'
There are still 79 shopping days until Christmas, but that has not stopped one couple from decorating their home with all the trimmings.

Craig and Kelly Kitchener, from Llwynypia in the Rhondda, have put up their Christmas tree and even wrapped each other's presents.

The newly-weds decorated a month ago on 4 September saying they wanted to get into the "Christmas spirit".

"We are like big kids but we both love Christmas," said Mr Kitchener."

YES. Last Christmas was my first Christmas not working retail, and I actually enjoyed Christmas last year! This year I get to actually see my family for Christmas so it can only get even better
