I have a company truck, a Chevrolet W/T 1500 (probably ~1997 or older), which just had its alternator replaced. The truck runs fine, except that the clock and radio no longer work. If you press the radio on/off button, the clock comes on for 2-3 seconds before fading out. The clock time is still on, because everytime I check it the time is exactly the same amount off from the real time.
We have a mchanic, but my truck is a low priority (since it still runs fine). A friend of mine suggested checking the fuse box, but I know next to nothing about these trucks, including WHERE the fuse box is.
PM me if you know how to fix this, thanks. 9/17/2007 11:14:26 AM |

N/m, found the fuse box, used the car manuel to find the fuse for the radio. Replaced it with a spare, radio and clock now work.
Now you all know why I don't post in here 9/17/2007 11:31:42 AM |
