yeah, in fact, there are probably a LOT of schools that have a lot more important injuries than that

if there was going to be a year where we were taken out by injuries then it's not so bad that it's this one...

it's a rebuilding year anyway, everybody knows that...

With regard to the football injuries, if everyone was healthy, would it have made a difference? Maybe in the UCF game, but we still would have got smoked by BC, still would have got punched in the face by Clempson, and would still be looking at a horrible season. It doesn't matter.

The basketball injuries worry me because we have a chance to actually be good this year. Not so much with football.

no, he's out the whole season. Javi G. who actually has more potential in my opinion in a spot we need (PG) is out 10-12 weeks. Multiple peeps here.

so with Tedder out, I wonder how many snaps are going to go over the punter's head this saturday. on the brightside, he'll probably have a lot of practice by the end of the game.

as much as we all hate the current QB situation, burning wilson's redshirt on what amounts to a thrown away season would be retarded.

^^It was more the OL taking a while to develop. Until the OL got squared away I wouldn't have seen us winning many more games. Brown and Baker can only do so much if there are no holes.

Any news on the severity of those two injuries? I'm particularly concerned about Manning's injury b/c he's big time. I know he has been replaced in the shrine bowl per WRAL. I really want next year to get off on a better foot and I don't want us to have to back off or pull scholarship offers from guys who are talented? Y'all think that could realistically happen?

Bball players in general have shitty knees. Compare them to soccer players, who rarely have knee troubles.

If you saw the play he torqued the fuck out of his knee. If you play at fullspeed and make wreckless plants your knee is going to give.

That was just a bad play all around.

A true point guard pulls up and makes the pass.

A true scorer goes at the rim.

Splitting the middle isn't good basketball and leads to injury.

Rally, I'll give it to you that you know a ton about sports, but this shit seriously makes no sense and it is an all too typical of you "reach" type of post. For starters, he was going right at the rim. This has everything to do with him being diminutive in the strength/size/balance department and nothing to do with that funny quote you have going on there.

I'm just saying to play the "bad luck" card here doesn't apply.

He didn't go to the rim as a scorer.

He went as someone waiting to draw a foul.

He accidentally buckled his own knee. It's terrible luck, but its just something that happens sometimes.

You either have to go toward the rim, or back away. If you go halfway bad things can happen.
