The first installment includes several big names.

M. Bulger 69.8

J. Campbell 69.6

J. Losman 69.0

A. Smith 67.4

M. Leinart 62.6

K. Clemens 60.2

D. Brees 57.1

R. Grossman 45.2

T. Jackson 40.0

To qualify, a player must have at least 14 attempts per team's games played.

^^a bunch of young guys without Brees/Bulger

Grossman doesn't count as a seasoned QB b/c hes just terrible and shouldn't even be in the NFL

I'm predicting Campbell to improve a lot this year and be off this list soon.

Bulger and Brees will recover, not to their Pro Bowl levels maybe, but at least enough to be respectable.

If Lovie Smith has a brain, Grossman won't have the chance to change his rating one way or the other.

thank God none of them are on my fantasy teams

Honestly though what the fuck were the Vikings thinking when they decided to go with Tavaris Jackson as their opening season starter?

I'll get a little bolder and say he finishes in the top half of the league

I see your top half of the league, and raise you to top 10, Campbell is the shit

Doubtful

He's gotta play a real defense first before I can give him too much credit.

The one actual defense he faced this year (Miami) made him look pretty bad.

turnip, i know this isn't the official "sports betting" thread, but how confident are you in that top 10 prediction of yours?

feel free to lay down your odds in your reply, along with how much you'd like to throw down on it

Campbell maybe Top 10 in the NFC, but he is nowhere near Top 10 in the NFL. Just off the top of my head, I here is 10 QBs Campbell will not be better than this year (sorry if I forget someone - also this is not necessarily in order either).

1. Peyton
2. Brady
3. Palmer
4. Romo
5. Rivers
6. McNabb
7. Favre
8. Hasselbeck
9. Eli
10. Rothelisberger

Plus Brees, Bulger, Kitna, Garrad, Schaub, Vince Young, and Pennington are all better Qbs than Campbell. I am sure I am missing a couple of guys too.

kordell stewart and i share a birthday

so i say fuck this thread

---

and philip rivers is not having a better year than brett favre

with the having no offensive weapons at all, i don't see how you could put favre outside of the top five

Also, Rivers will bounce back over the next few weeks against the pathetic AFC West competition.

well i don't read posts, but ordered lists catch my eye

and brett favre plays in the nfc north, so i have a feeling his numbers will only become more gaudy

I would have said, in no order, PEYTON Manning/Brady/Bulger/Brees/Palmer/Rivers/Mcnabb/Romo/Hasselbeck/Favre

[Edited on September 25, 2007 at 5:39 PM. Reason : but Campbell is up and coming and will be there one day, along with Leinart and probably Vince.]

That list was merely a list of QBs better than Jason Campbell. I wasn't necessarily putting him in the top 10 even though with Plexiglass and Shockey, he should be putting up top 10 numbers.

^Yeah Bulger has bigger issues than two broken ribs. He also has two aging WRs and Drew Bennett is not 100% either.

Panthers should give Steve Beuerlein a call, he was easily the best QB they have had.
