...um why is this thing new? how long ago was it purchased? this was low-end a year ago. you can get an inspiron 1501 for $500 new from dell same specs except it has 512MB RAM and Vista. You can then buy the additional RAM for $50 and you have essentially the same computer for $50 less than your asking price.

MS office 2003? that is not offered from dell, is that on the side? also which vostro is it? 1000, 1400, 1500, 1700?
