She's playing at the Ryman Auditorium on 11/14...I'm inclined to think the drive might be worth it.

Page Auditorium is a horrible venue. I have no idea who Regina Spektor is.

It's not great, but it's better than the Vandermint Auditorium at UNC.

If I had known that, I would've gotten tickets for that instead

my uncle lives there, he'd let me crash

ATTN people who have never been to a concert before: If the house lights stay down and the music doesn't come on, that means she is willing to do an encore.

Lots of annoying people at this show, and my seat sucked balls. Great performance, though, and what a fucking warrior to finish the show with severe vertigo and being helped on and off stage. Kudos to Only Son for making a date rape joke at Duke. I laughed. Everyone around me did not.

I don't think it's chronic or anything. She got an inner ear infection or something a week or so ago and had to cancel a bunch of shows. This was her second show back I think, and you could tell she was having a rough time, but it didn't affect her playing or singing at all.

3^
I knew she was probably going to do an encore...and this definitely ain't my first rodeo

but the show started late (8:30 apparently means 9:00, then she not taking the stage until 10)...
and man i gotta get up early and drive back to durham for work...so I left.

plus, i had the RUDEST girls sitting behind me (so the annoying people were rampant)...they talked almost non-stop. they would stop when i turned around and asked them not to, but sure enough 2.5 songs later they'd be chatting it up again.

despite ALL that...her voice is amazing (we all know that), and it was a great show

That's cool. I guess I was mainly referring to the four annoying girls beside me who were like "SHE'S SICK YOU ASSHOLES SHE'S NOT GOING TO DO AN ENCORE" and then stormed out only to come back in 5 minutes later after hearing all of the cheering.
