saw it tonight-- ABSOLUTELY LAUGHABLY AWFUL. My friend and I just sat and laughed and talked shit throughout. It was slow, poorly acted, and implausable. The whole family thing was freakish... no family is that close. Does anyone's family put on talent shows like that and have sing-alongs and group-yoga sessions? Wow... just wow. Can someone tell me why this movie has received such positive reviews?

Eh, the jokes were decent, but I agree, the plot was pretty lame. It had that great chick from Law and Order and the dad from Fraisier, and they didn't even use them.
