or vice versa?

I'm debating on whether or not to bite the bullet and get a sony ericsson phone, b/c i pretty much love nokia's menu structure and organization. there are so many more features on a comparably priced SE phone though.

i've never used sony ericsson phones long term before.

does anyone have a basis of comparison?

has anyone switched between the two regularly?

does the increased cost of memory sticks bother you?

APPLE! then sony ericsson. I've always had sony ericssons cause they were free.

i'm looking at the w580i b/c it's free (i'm not gonna pay for a phone) and it's got a lot going for it (except the defective key issue and slider quality).

there is a nokia for free also, but it's a flip and i really don't like them anymore.

i'm more of a candy bar phone person. sliders fit into that concept.

I've never had what you'd call a 'free with contract phone' although all my phones have always been free but they were of the higher end of the spectrum. I'm a gadget person so as long as its got something to set it apart from the others i'll pay for it.

I love my Nokia although I have never tried a Sony. My first phone was an LG but the battery life was awful. Then again that was 7 years ago so I am sure there have been improvements.
