10/6/2007 3:03:20 AM
How the fucking hell do you only spend 25 dollars on food for a whole fucking week?
10/6/2007 3:12:50 AM
i dunno, went to the grocery store twice--spent about $10 the first time and $15 the second
10/6/2007 3:17:38 AM
nm, i forget I eat much more than normal people, and a lot more than most college students. But still, how do you eat off that little???
10/6/2007 3:20:10 AM
i don't eat a lot of meat, maybe one serving a day--that probably helps a lot
10/6/2007 3:23:41 AM

10/6/2007 5:36:18 AM
25 bucks for beer in a week is nothing, hell some people spend that several nights during a week
10/6/2007 6:39:15 AM
$25 on BEER is abserd... that's a ton of beer (for one person - it's $2/pint here in fayettenam). $25 on ANY OTHER ALCOHOL, mix drinks or wine for instance, childs play.

a few weeks ago, i came to the realization that each month this year i had 4 figure bar/alcohol tabs, and that that was just stupid.so now i buy in bulk.

I paid $10 for a damn good bottle of wine at the vineyard where my boyfriend's sister got married at yesterday. Then I got 2 free bottles of the same kind. It's not the 2005 Harvest Gold, but its the next best thing.[Edited on October 7, 2007 at 9:44 PM. Reason : ]

ten whole dollars?
10/7/2007 9:37:50 PM
ten WHOLE dollarsI don't know why it was so cheap, besides the fact that it is a smaller, local winery. But, its the second best wine I've ever had.

I don't know if I'm developing some sort of mental health problem that causes paranoia. But riddle me this...I'm a not-so-light drinker, and I enjoy a half case of Stella or Newcastle every now and then. By every now and then, I mean often--the frequency is up to you to determine. The grocery stores I patronize have always had my beer for about $12-13. And when I moved in to my new place a couple months ago, the Food Lion across the street from me was no exception. But lately, I've noticed they've been running out of my brands and now they've upped the price to 15 dollars!!Could one person be responsible for the changes in a grocery store's beer mini-economy?
10/7/2007 9:58:12 PM
ahaha^
10/7/2007 9:59:45 PM
Nah, I'm serious. Are they out to get me?
10/7/2007 10:13:08 PM
it's possible. i've never worked at a grocer store so i don't know how they run their shit.
